Booking the Choir for a
Concert/Event
The Choir are more than willing to engage in concerts for charities, charitable organisations, churches, community
groups and other worthy causes throughout Cumbria. We have a vast repertoire to draw upon and concerts are
always sung without musical copies. We can also engage the services of local female soloists and/or Sethera Brass if
required, to complement the Choir in your concert.
The Choir even respond to special requests prior to concerts, recently we learned the Westlife hit 'You Raise Me
Up' especially for a concert of the same title.
Concert bookings will of course depend on a suitable venue.
The services of the Choir are provided entirely FREE of charge to the charities/charitable organisations
and other worthy causes we perform for, allowing all monies raised to benefit the chosen charities.
The Choir are also available to sing at weddings and corporate functions.

Choir Membership
The Choir are always on the look-out for new members no matter how old or young, an ability to fully
read music initially is not necessary, as training will be given. The Choir rehearse every Thursday from 7:30pm to 9:30pm
in St Gregory's and St Patrick's Church, Quay Street, Whitehaven (this is the small church next to Argos near the harbour).
If you are interested please feel free to come to one of our rehearsals, you will be made most welcome and you never know,
you might get to like us.
Visitors to Whitehaven are also very welcome to sit in on rehearsals.

Choir Patrons
Friends and supporters of the Choir can become patrons/friends. For a minimum donation of £10 per person per annum, a
ticket to the Annual Concert in June is included, and priority booking for the Christmas Celebration Concert in December. To
